"Real Fire Interior Wall Mural"

This interior wall mural I did using Createx water based paints. I could not use automotive paints obviously, so water based was the only way to go. I used the Createx opaque colors and I have to say I was leery about how it would look not using the automotive base and Kandy system, but the colors are so bright and vibrant that I'm sold on using Createx for all my interior needs.

I did a reproduction of the guitar in the rear of the photo and add a
headstock design on the new one.

For House of Blues Disneyland Anaheim, Ca.

This bus Cabinet was constructed by H.L. Miller Construction and dropped off to me for the design and painting. Staying on for the build and some brainstorming was H. Miller himself.

I first beat the heck out of the cab with hammers, screwdrivers, files, knives and chain.
I then based the cab with burgundy ink, next top coating it with gloss black.
After all was dry, I sanded the cab with 220 to bring out the wood and colors.
The galvanized top was treated with muriatic acid, water,
sun and if that wasn't enough, 7/11 coffee.

The rest of the art was done freehand with a foam brush.
The skulls are swirled aluminum, the snakes and bongos wood.

Hand Painted design, re-created from Eddie Van Halen's vintage VH guitar.

Guitarist/Songwriter Michael J. Kuhn of the now infamous band "THE-M"
and avid Van Halen fan, just had to have one of his guitars painted to match the historic six string. Also included in the build was the quarter under the corner of the Floyd and the ever elusive grey "ALPHA-4" wiring.

In 2006, from seemingly out of nowhere, a re-emerging "THE-M" (after announcing a
new recording in the works) held a nation wide contest sponsored by Verozon Wire to give away
the spectacular "Eddie-M" guitar. The contest winner in Troy, Michigan was so excited
about winning the guitar from over 300,017 other entries that he had his High School graduation picture taken with the instrument.

"Water Tower"

This was a brand new water tower that I was asked to age and to make look as if it had
been there for years and years. All the runny brown rusty crud is all paint!
After etching the galvanized steel with vinegar (thanks Vic) the rest was easy...

Tower is approx. 22' tall and 13' in diameter.
