"UFC FIGHTER - Mike Swick's F-150"
TRUCKIN' MAGAZINE FEATURE
- VOLUME 34
I was asked to apply white Real-Fire inside this graphic for UFC fighter Mike Swick
over his
stock Ford color
using HOK bases.
I had a base color reduction done in the first
layer of clear
to ghost it down and get the sparkle back.
Striped with HOK metallic silver striping enamels.
Done in conjunction with HOT Motorsports & Carsmetics LF.

"1967 Rat Cadillac Real-Traditional Fire"
This is a sneak peak
at a 1967 Cadillac with a special traditional flame layout
with a 12 layer real fire filling, over a kustom Dupont one off black sealer
with
UV protectant added.
Pinstriped with One Shot Emerald Green and Orange.

"Gambler"
This was marble based and covered with Tangelo candy.
I did the design/layout and pinstriping with black,
ivory and orange
as well as the drop shadows and lettering on tank and rear fender.
Unfortunately, "whoever",
(the shop I did the work
for) did not feel so inclined to mention me by name,
in the "Artist Name" category of the spec sheet...
Regardless the artwork is mine.
You would think after you sign someone else's shop name to your
artwork, they would at least
mention you in the "person most taken advantage of" category.

"Johnny's Bob-In-A-Box"
I laid out the
graphics and did the pinstriping as well as the Johnny's logo on the
tank sides
and
the 8-Ball graphic on the air cleaner.
As it was, there were many other hands touching this bike project.
For a complete list of participants, see "Resources" page 92.
All reference to said
"Shop in Orange" has been blurred in article by request of shop

"Rodman Leopard Skin Custom Set"
Well the new owner of
this Dennis Rodman classic set didn't want the typical Rodman graphics.
You know, naked leopard something... Anyway, a brief history (it's late
and I'm bored)
first it was riddled with naked pics of wife at the time, Carmen
Electra, after her exodus,
my friend D. V. Shultz changes Electra's face to Bette Page, now, here's
my deluxe contribution...
get rid of it all, fill it in, all leopard spots. Gee.
This was done over a
white base, layered over with
House Of Kolor Pearls thanks to Kickstart Kustoms.
The spots are freehand airbrushed with a blast of Tangerine in the
centers. |

"Shredded - USA Flag"
This effect is pretty self explanatory. |
|
|
 |
"Shredded - Plated V-Rod"
This art was made to look like the paint was peeling off and revealing
the plated/riveted
carcass of parts. |
|
|
 |
"Traditional Lid"
The ever popular
eagle busting out through an American flag.
This one had to match the embroidery on the back of the customers
leather jacket.
Shown without clear coat. |
|
|
 |
"Hellrazor Sand rail"
Some freehand skull
work in black and a lettering mask assisted me in making the
Hellrazor text on the back of this sand rail toolbox.
With the text mask I was able to apply a little true fire within the
letters. A nice effect.
All shown here yet to be clear coated. |
|
|
 |
"Barbed Wire "Metric"
After applying some
liquid mask and laying out the wire scheme I used black
and grey tones to achieve the look. A Freehand shield also came in
handy.
The bike owner works for a brewer hence the mini keg. |

|

 |
"Yellow Tribal
& Checker Sand Rail"
Yellow candy powder coat base.
They got a tribal flame/checker flag shred in candies, pinstriped with
neon green
and drop shadowed with black.
I did the design/layout, striping and airbrushing. |
